If you are an affiliate marketer and use article marketing to promote products, you will obviously know the importance of keyword research. Do you enjoy doing keyword research? Personally, it drives me nuts. Do you need help with keyword research? I definitely do, even though I have a big collection of free keyword research tools.

No business is ever perfect, there’s always bound to be one aspect that you like less than all the rest of the work, or even something that you outright detest. I’ve seen many people complaining on forums that they can’t stand writing articles. I am happy to spend the whole day writing articles, my bugbear is keyword research; it is just so tedious.

If only there was an alternative to keyword research. There are tons of free tools available online, but nothing removes the need for the affiliate to sit there checking, checking, checking. Maybe, on a good day the checking will bring a result, but all too often it leads to a dead end. Then you start again and hope that you will be able to hang onto your sanity for a bit longer.

Every announcement of a new program or new system or technique sparks off my hope that keyword research will be diminished in importance. Sadly, my hope never comes true, if anything keyword research seems to be getting more important.

It goes against the grain and the fine principles of Bum Marketing, but something had to give and I decided it was going to be keyword research because it was boring and too time consuming.
